In 2015 Around the world, 319 camera teams digitally preserved over 122 million records in 45 countries, and 304,000 online volunteer indexers helped make them searchable.

400 million new records are added each year. That’s an average of more than 1 million new records every day.

the searchable indexed names have grown from 750 million in 2010 to 5.31 billion at the end of 2015.
